The Tokyo Marathon Foundation has conducted a study on the economic ripple effects of the Tokyo Marathon 2025, held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and announces the results as follows.

Economic ripple effect in Japan: approximately 78.7 billion yen.
Economic ripple effect in Tokyo: approximately 56.2 billion yen.

The calculations were performed by Mitsumasa Etoh, Visiting Researcher at RIKEN and Part-time Lecturer at Tokyo City University.
