Tokyo Marathon 2025 has successfully ended today.
In its 18th edition, the Tokyo Marathon 2025 welcomed 37,785 runners (preliminary figure).
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the local communities and businesses for their support and understanding despite the extended traffic control.
The elite race showcased intense competition among top Japanese and international athletes, with the ultimate winners being:
Men's Wheelchair – SUZUKI, Tomoki (JPN) Back-to-back champion
Women's Wheelchair – DEBRUNNER, Catherine (SUI)
Men's Marathon – TAKELE, Tadese (ETH) First-time champion
TIME: 2 hours, 3 minutes, and 23 seconds
Women's Marathon – KEBEDE, Sutume Asefa (ETH) Back-to-back champion
TIME: 2 hours, 16 minutes, and 31 seconds
