To ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy the race comfortably, we kindly ask for your cooperation in following the cheering guidelines while watching along the course.
The marathon course runs through public roads and is made possible with the understanding and support of local residents, businesses, and municipalities. Let’s all work together to create the warmest and most welcoming marathon in the world!
Please review the following guidelines and cooperate accordingly.
[Cheering Guidelines]
●Entry to the course is restricted to runners and authorized personnel only.
Crossing the course is not allowed. Please use underground passages or pedestrian bridges instead.
●Certain areas along the course, such as near the finish line and tourist spots, may become crowded.
Entry restrictions may be implemented when necessary.
●Do not attach banners, flags, or signs to public structures such as guardrails or bridges.
●For safety reasons, please do not lean over, climb, or step onto barriers and guardrails.
Standing on ladders or stools for cheering or photography is also dangerous and not permitted.
●Please be considerate of nearby buildings, stores, and other pedestrians.
●Use designated restrooms whenever possible.
In particular, please refrain from using station restrooms unless you are a passenger, as this may inconvenience commuters.
●Take your trash with you and help keep the area clean.
●Traffic restrictions will be in place throughout the day on March 2.

This guide, featuring model routes based on your runner’s target time, will be available on February 26.
●Supporter Navigation
On Race Day, we will be providing a service whereby users can use their computers, smartphones, or tablets to locate a runner on the course map and check their times. Through this, families and friends can go on ahead of a runner on the course to cheer on their friend or family member.
