■HONG KONG, CHINA (HKG) / Age 58
I'm a recreational and passionate runner. I hope my donation can provide assistance to the program and more people will have the opportunities to participate in sports activities. Sports can enhance our physical and mental health.
■THAILAND (THA) / Age 42
Human rights and education are what every human being deserves for. I live in Thailand and have seen many children, young people as well as women who lack social opportunity, and believe this situation also happens in the rest of South Asian countries as well, especially in Bangladesh which is recently facing economic difficulty.
I want to take some part to promote equality for people who lack the opportunity and resources to make their life better. This problem is not easy to get resolved and it will take time, just like running a marathon. I hope I can help create awareness to other people by way of my charity and running.
■UNITED STATES (USA) / Age 29
I've been a charity runner for five years, and I always try to select a cause that I'm passionate about. CARE International Japan immediately stood out to me for its work to support women and girls in conflict zones. Women and girls face sexual and gender-based violence on top of the violence or natural disaster that has driven them to their homes. As someone in a position of privilege, I want to use my money (and my voice) to draw attention to these issues and the noble work of CARE. It would be the honor of a lifetime to run for the CARE team at the Tokyo Marathon.
■SWITZERLAND (SUI) / Age 31
I participate in the Tokyo Marathon's charity to combine my passion for sports with making a positive impact on society. Through their Sports Legacy Program, they promote education, facilities, awareness, and societal contributions, aligning with my values of innovation and inclusion. Together, we can create a brighter future for Tokyo and Japan.

My reason to support the Ronald McDonald House is they were there for my brother and his family while their daughter was in the hospital receiving treatment for cancer. This enables them to stay close to their daughter, this helps many families and I believe in and passionate in supporting this charity and being a charity runner.
■UNITED STATES (USA) / Age 35
I want to support women and girls on conflict, and want them to be safe.

I was born in Nigeria, West Africa, and I was lucky enough to be born into a family able to afford
health care and clean water. I have witnessed a lot of family and friends get very sick due to a lack of clean water. I now live in the United States and I donate a lot of money to clean water charities and initiatives. I would be honored to run the Tokyo Marathon and run for such a fantastic charity.
