Tokyo Marathon 2021 Has Successfully Ended.

With Japanese and international top athletes, the elite race was a fierce battle, with the ultimate winners being:
Men's Wheelchair - HUG, Marcel (SUI)
Women's Wheelchair - KINA, Tsubasa (JPN)
Men's Marathon - KIPCHOGE, Eliud (KEN) *Course record
Women's Marathon - KOSGEI, Brigid (KEN) *Course record

This year, in the difficulties surrounding Covid-19, we had tremendous support from runners, volunteers, the medical team, and related parties involved in the race operation to successfully organize our event.

As well as, we would like to take this time to express our gratitude to all communities and local businesses for support and understanding of our event despite the long traffic control.

Today on March 6, 2022, the Tokyo Marathon 2021 was able to realize the event theme "The Day We Unite." thanks to the incredible amount of support.
