As for runners and volunteers, we hope you all enjoy the race day experience, while being prepared for heat and cold, in addition to implementing the Covid-19 countermeasures, and always listening to your body.
This year, to deliver a safe event, different protocols were initiated, such as, requesting all runners to utilize the health-management app, initiating PCR testing, and maintaining physical distance wherever possible to avoid the "Three C's".
We thank all runners, volunteers and all personnel involved in the Tokyo Marathon for the understanding and cooperation with the protocols, and we request everyone to maintain safety measures even after the start of the Tokyo Marathon 2021.
To keep yourself and others safe, avoid congregating along the course, and we encourage everyone to cheer on the runners from home by tracking the race through tv, radio and social media.
After the race start (9:05 am onwards), you can use the "Spectator Navigator" feature that allows you to check where runners are expected to be at on a map, and the "Leaderboard" that allows you to check finishing order and times of the top runners in real time.
These tracking features require you to enter bib number information or name of the runners you are looking for.
*Searchable results are unofficial and provided for reference only.
*A service is available from around 9:00 am on the race day.
