In order to further excite the Tokyo Marathon 2019 (to be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019), the Tokyo Marathon Foundation is hosting the "Pre-Race Festa" on Saturday, March 2, the day before　the Tokyo Marathon 2019. Various events will be held throughout the festival at different venues.

In Symbol Promenade Park, Odaiba, near the venue of the Tokyo Marathon Expo 2019, kids will run alongside with their parents in the "Tokyo Marathon Family Run 2019." Also, the "Tokyo Marathon Friendship Run 2019" aims to extend a warm welcome to runners from overseas. The "Tokyo Marathon Week 2019 Official Event" will be held at the finish area of the Tokyo Marathon, including Marunouchi Naka-Dori Street.
