Dear all, Thanks to all your support, Tokyo Marathon 2017, the New course of the Tokyo Marathon, turned out to be a great success.
It was a fresh start with a new course. Tokyo Marathon 2017. The first champions of new course are wheelchair men Sho Watanabe, wheelchair women Amanda McGrory, marathon men Wilson Kipsang, marathon women Sarah Chepchirchir.

Certainly, the operation of runner conductor was changing at the finish area, but corporation of runners and support of volunteer make the race day experience be safe and seamless without significant problem.

We would like to thank runners, volunteers, and spectators along the streets of Tokyo as well as those who cheered the runners through the television screen. Furthermore, we really appreciate those who showed understanding for the needs of closures.
