The Tokyo Marathon 2023 Has Successfully Ended.

The 16th edition of the Tokyo Marathon welcomed the full capacity of 38,000 runners for the first time in four years.

With Japanese and international top athletes, the elite race was a fierce battle, with the ultimate winners being:

Men's Wheelchair - HUG, Marcel (SUI)*CR
Women's Wheelchair - SCHAR, Manuela (SUI) *CR
Men's Marathon - GELMISA, Deso (ETH)
Women's Marathon - WANJIRU, Rosemary (KEN)

We had tremendous support from runners, volunteers, the medical team, and related parties involved in the race operation to successfully organize our event.

Also, we would like to take this time to express our gratitude to all communities and local businesses for support and understanding of our event despite the long traffic control.
