Tokyo Marathon Foundation will hold ROAD TO TOKYO MARATHON 2021, pre-events for Tokyo Marathon 2021, to build momentum leading up to the scheduled Marathon day, Sunday, October 17, 2021.

This series of events--the first of its kind--is designed to invite people around the world to experience the joy of running within the "new normal". Events include a virtual marathon open to runners from all　regions, and Tokyo-based running events featuring a blend of the virtual and in-person events.

Title: ROAD TO TOKYO MARATHON 2021
Date: February 22 (Mon.) until March 14 (Sun.), 2021
Prize: Total 1,000 runners will have the chance to win a guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the Tokyo Marathon 2021.

Initially, the entry was scheduled to open from Jan. 21, but due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19 , we have decided to postpone the entry date.
